Name: Blaze
Gender: She-cat
Age: 15 moons
Appearance: White she-cat with ginger-coloured Tabby markings and Amber eyes
Blaze's back-up story:

Autumn was getting colder and colder. Blaze padded on the streets of her home city.
She had lived her whole life alone. Her mother had left her and her siblings in different places when they were old enough to take care of themselves. Blaze hadn't heard about her mother since and when she thought about it it didn't bother her that much.

One day Blaze decided to check one part of the city that she hadn't seen before. She had heard rumors from older loners that it was the shadowiest place what city held inside it's borders.
Stepping in the shadows Blaze paced forward. Looking carefully around she walked deeper to the shadows and sniffed the air. No one had been there for a while. Maybe the rumors about the 'dead corner' were true... she thought. Going on forward Blaze halted by a terrible stent that she had never sensed before or anywhere.
What's that?!
Narrowing her eyes she padded deeper to the shadows and started to see clearly. There were flies flying all around making the air sound pretty buzzed. They were flying a round on something where the stent came from...
It was a dead and rotten body of kitten!
Seeing the terrible sight Blaze backed away for a little. Instead of running she still decided to check the kitten out properly.
Pacing closer to it she saw from the middle of rotten fur that the kitten must've been here for a while...Maybe even seasons. Carefully poking it's side, Blaze turned it around and her eyes widened by the sight. The shape of kitten's head was just like hers! Taking a closer look she later recognized some partly-fresh markings... "No..." she whispered. This kitten was one of her mother's abandoned siblings!
Parting some of it's sticky fur Blaze recognized even more fimilar things; her sibling's body was covered by scars and it's claws held fur from their mother. Is she...Would she've done this...
Startling, Blaze heard a 'thumb' behind her. Turning around she saw another rotten body...Another fimilar kitty! As she padded forward it she gazed upwards. There was a stick, which had some dried blood in it. This other kitten must've been stabbed and in the end she or he was left to die there...

Shaking her head to clear it Blaze felt a bitterness rise inside her throat. If her mother was responsible for these deaths, she had to do something!

As weeks went by, Blaze had looked nearly every single street in her city that she knew.
She was now more than sure that her mother had murdered her siblings. Maybe she would've been her victim too if she hadn't abandoned her... Padding closer to the last turn to the next alley Blaze stoped to think should she give up on her plan to give a revenge for her mother or not if she didn't find her from there.
Taking a deep breath in Blaze padded to the last alley on the street and her eyes flew wide open.
a Ginger tabby she-cat was crouched towards the corner of alley. Turning her gaze Blaze recoginzed a rat. and then the fimilar scent. She had found her mother.
"Mom!" Blaze called the she-cat who spun around in surprise. Blaze saw how other of her ears were torn and soon her blue eyes were soon covered by hint of amusement as she recognized her caller. "I thought you wouldn't recognize me anymore." Blaze's mother mewed and took a pace forward. "I can tell that you've grown--" "Unlike my siblings!" Blaze cut her off and her fur started to prickle. "You killed them, didn't you? and what for?!" "Oh Blaze..." there wasn't even sorrow in the she-cat's eyes as she took another pace and unsheathed her bloody claws. "You were smart one when you didn't follow me after I had left you for the twoleg... But it seems like you decided not to accept the home, hmm?" "No need for stories! Why you even killed them?! They did nothing wrong!" "How can you know?"
Rising her eye brown, Blaze's mother started to circle her daughter. "It showed their weakness, that they couldn't be apart from me...and you know what? It was better that you were smart enough not to follow me. I'm not the same loving mother anymore.." stopping her pacing for a while Blaze's mother gave Blaze partly an insane look. "After your father decided to live his own life along side his precious forest, I decided it was the best to let him and his memory to be! So I gave up on you all for a reason; that I would give up on my life and start all over again. But those dungs, who weren't ready for living alone...It was just their time to die."
Without warning Blaze's mother leaped at her and gave a sharp blow at Blaze's shoulder. Hissing by pain Blaze spun around and prepared for another attack. As she saw her mother to leap once again forward she unsheathed her claws and leaped as well. But too late. As Blaze felt the air get into her paws, she felt stab of pain go through her side as her mother's claws got through her skin. Landing steadily on her shaking paws she turned around and saw how her mother's tail was lashing from side to side. "I won't say this twice! If you wish still to live, leave me and this place for good..." Her mother hissed softly and crouched again.
What am I going to do?! Blaze felt how panic started to get control on her. If she fled she'll dispoint her dead siblings and even herself. But if she stayed...
Shaking her head Blaze pushed the thought away. She had to fight! For her dead siblings! "I'm not leaving! Not...Not until you're dead!" "Very well." Leaping once again her mother stretched her claws towards her. This time Blaze was ready.
Leaping in air, she saw how her mother missed her aim and then landed on the ground underneath her. Hissing Blaze landed on her mother's back and dug her claws into her sides raging her sides in fury.
Hissing her mother spun around and got a crap into her neck by her teeth. Feeling her panic to rise once again Blaze fought against her mother's hold and clawed the air furiously, hitting her mother's muzzle. Instead of letting go Blaze felt her mother's stabbing claws getting through her skin, clawing her hind leg. After that she felt how she flew across the air and then how she ran out of the breath. Her mother had thrown her against the wall. Fighting for her breathing she felt her mother's claws getting into her head. "I told you, Blaze, to stay away from me!" without letting her reply Blaze felt her mother's claws rage through her head. As the stabbing pain went once again her Blaze hissed by pain and leaped forward.
She got a grip from her mother's shoulder and she bit it hard.
Blaze could feel the warm blood hit her tongue as she bit off some of her mother's fur. "You're thinking you're more powerful than me?!" her mother hissed and knocked her easily off by her other paw.
As Blaze felt the earth underneath her she felt also another blow to near her...Her mother was aiming her throat!
Turning away Blaze felt her mother's claws go through her chest. Blinking finally her eyes open she felt how pain flashed in the wound on her head. It had nearly blinded her!
And the wound on her chest nearly killed...
Blaze felt how her heart was beating extra beats by her panic. But for her surprise she felt calm. Glancing at her mother she could see her next move.
Her mother was racing towards her, ready for a new blow.
Blaze felt how her claws were burning and how some-kind-of fire was flaring from her back-bone, as telling her what to do. Her eyes blazed as she dodged her mother's other deadly move and prepared for her own. The fire reached her chest, then her mind. And then at last her claw tips.

Blaze rose to her hind legs and leaped forward her claws unsheathed. Instead of leaping on her mother's back she landed on her side and then dived on her belly fur, clawing a wound going across her belly from side to side. Gasping by pain her mother lost a balance and was about to fall on the rocky street, but was prepared and steadied her balance. But Blaze was ready for another blow.
Turning around Blaze let her claws slice the air as they finally met her mother's throat leaving blood drops fly in the air. Hearing a thumb she saw her mother lie on her side on the rocky street, her eyes tired and partly glassed by blood-loss.

Pacing carefully towards her mother's body, Blaze felt her fire calm down and how her breath was coming out as a little gasps.
Her mother lied on the street for a moment without moving. The blood was spilling out from her wounds which Blaze had just made.
At last, coughing, Blaze's mother lifted her head and her eyes were glowing. "J-Just like your f-father...!" Startled by her praise Blaze leaned her head carefully forward. "J-Just like your father...! Indeed..." her mother was losing blood. Maybe that was the reason she had got a such a nice wave go through her?
"Who?" Blaze asked. She had newer heard her mother talk for her and her siblings about their father. "Your fa-father of course! Such a shame t-that I've not told you b-be-before." while speaking her mother coughed. Some of the drops were scarleted by blood. "Y-You know why I l-let you live ab-above your siblings..? And g-gave you yours name... Oh Blaze I was n-never wrong..." her mother's voice was still steady but Blaze knew it wouldn't last long. Still staying quiet her mother went forward: "Oh Blaze...I-I always knew that your b-blood was blazing in your veins...a-as...or not as...Exactly just like your f-father's!" Leaning forward Blaze could recognize the same warm kindness from her mother's voice. Just the same voice as she had used to soot her or her siblings if someone had hurt themselves into something.
"Tell me more...!" Blaze started to feel how her bitterness was pushed away by grief. "I guess it's y-your time to know the..truth" her mother mewed and gave a soft smile. "He w-was...a Clan cat...Y-yes... Beyond this city's borders live f-five Clans..." coughing more blood Blaze knew her mother's end was near. Landing one of her fore paw's on her mother's shoulder she hushed her. Refusing her mother kept speaking on: "Y-you indeed has his Clan blood i-in your v-ve-veins." As she lied her head on the street again she opened her jaws once again: "You knew you did the r-right thing... J-just like...Y-yo-you..." taking a deep breath she spoke once again with more steady voice "Let the fire in your blood blaze through your veins. Like it has always done! Don't dispoint me my dear. N-never dispoint me..." Closing her eyes, Blaze's mother sighed and was still.

Blaze stared her mother's body. Five Clans? Beyond the city's borders? Repeating these words inside her head, Blaze started to slowly pad away from her mother's body. She felt grief for her mother. But there was still bitterness and unforgiveness in her heart which was caused by the deaths of her siblings.

As the winter went by, spring started to show it's signs.
Blaze was lying on rubbish bin.
She had ate a mouse earlier and now she felt again full filled after the long winter. Glancing across the street she saw how some cats had met up and were whispering together. Nodding to each other's they started to pad together towards fresher land.
Gray tom, probably the leader of the group, got his eyes on Blaze and padded up to her. "Why not morning Blaze! Would you tag along?" As Blaze looked at the other cats who were making their way towards the forest she narrowed her eyes. "Where're you going?" "To the forest!" "Why?" flicking his gray ear, the tom smirked. "We're going to take over the Clans!" The Clans?!
Blaze had not heard or thought about the Clans after her mother's death. Nobody knew that she had even died but her body had been taken away from the alley, probably by twolegs.
Narrowing her eyes Blaze gave a thoughtful look for the tom. This was her chance to get known into where her roots came from!
Leaping from the rubbish bin she nodded and gave a long look at the tom.
"Tell me more..."
